Skilak LLC was formed in Missouri in 2026 to make self-hosted AI something ordinary organizations can own.
Why we exist
The models are open. The tools are open. What is missing is the work that turns them into something a firm can run on its own hardware, trust, and forget about. We do that work, and we draw a hard line around your data while we do it.
How we work
A Keep install is a runbook, not a project: staged, tested, proven silent, delivered. Mesh is a command-line tool you install yourself with one script. Both are built on open source.

We joined NVIDIA Inception.
Skilak has been accepted into NVIDIA Inception. We will use it to test local inference on NVIDIA hardware more thoroughly.

Leadership
Srinath Kannoju
Srinath has spent twelve years building software — distributed systems and edge platforms across connected vehicles, energy management, and financial infrastructure, taking architectures from hardware-software co-design through to production.
He started Skilak because the organizations that would benefit most from AI are often the ones that can't send their data anywhere. He writes the software, specifies the hardware, and installs it. M.S. in Computer Science, University of Central Missouri.
